What fabric does Clouddancers use for their covers ?
When choosing the fabric for your cover the first question you need to ask yourself is : What would you like to use the cover for ?
If your aircraft is in a hangar then a dust cover will be a great option. These covers are not waterproof and intended for indoor use only. We have two options :
Standard Dust Covers
Made from a cotton-polyester mixture, these covers are robust, protect against dust, dirt and bird droppings. The inside is made of soft self-polishing cotton and the ventilation is great, this material will protect your aircraft against scratching. This is a perfect solution for an inexpensive cover for your hangar.
The aircraft is kept clean and stays protected against light impact by personnel or other objects. Depending on the model of aircraft, these covers come with reinforced sections, on a glider's wingtip for example, to stop any rips or breaks occurring due to contact with the floor.

Dust Light covers - Seersucker-
The Dust light covers are made from a seersucker fabric that is particularly light and packs away tightly. The covers are still very robust. Due to the lower weight and the more flexible fabric, handling is more comfortable than with the heavier cotton covers. However, due to the thinner fabric, these covers are more sensitive to bird droppings, for example.

Allweather STANDARD Cover :
The STANDARD Allweather covers feature a two layer system on the top surfaces, with a watertight outer material and an inner structured cotton layer for a self-polishing effect. The lower side of the wing is made out of an orange mesh fabric which allows good air circulation.
These covers will protect your aircraft come rain or shine, the material is lightweight and will protect the airframe against humidity thanks to the under-wing ventilation system.

Allweather UNCUTABLE cover
The UNCUTABLE Allweather is the cover we recommend ! There is an additional and thicker soft mesh synthetic material below the weather resistant layer and it features some great advantages, such as air cushion between the cover and the surface of your aircraft (even without wind), resistance against mold and anti-condensation. As well as light impact protection against external influence and very light hail. We also recommend choosing the Clouddancers-quick-tight-system option for the wing covers, this gives you a significant advantage during strong wings, allowing you to quickly tighten the covers. This system is a great improvement in the rapid handling of the covers.

Allweather IMPACT cover
The All-round protection. IMPACT protection cover is Clouddancers’s premium product. It is the safest and most comfortable cover. The impact cover can have several layers or our mesh fabric integrated into the top to the wings and elevator. The covers effectively protect against light mechanical stresses, storms and light hail. If your aircraft does not have the possibility to be stored in a hangar, this is the cover we recommend !
